Description
Responsibilities: Developing a safe working environment. Exploring new avenues to consume reclaimed raw materials. Visiting different raw materials suppliers and sample collection. Collating reports of New and existing reclaimed materials. Coordinating with the supply chain related to visit costing and quality of reclaimed materials. Coordination with the plant for timely processing of reclaimed materials. Coordination with the sales team for exploring new reclaimed material sources. Planning and execution of developmental work. Planning and execution of cost reduction of products. Control on incoming raw materials and timely evaluation. Customization of products. Customer / supplier visit. Adherence to IMS and Calderys systems. Training subordinates. Requirements: Essential: B.Tech - Ceramics Minimum 3 years of experience in a ceramic or refractory industry. Preferred: Experience in the refractory monolithic / brick industry will be preferred. The incumbent should have knowledge in ceramics and refractories. Knowledge in various refractory testing and characterization techniques. Analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication.
