Job Description Site Overview: Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem. Roles and Responsibilities Provide QC set-up and support in tendering and execution phases of Engineering Procure Construct. Oversee fulfillment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Capture lessons learned to continually improve execution processes. Working in a cross functional quality domain environments extending in fields of quality testing/production processes, new program introductions, FAI's & customer interfaces Flexibility to extend technical and professional support within intra quality domains. May require leading a team of quality associates and working in high performance teaming concepts Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills. Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters. A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others. Flexibility to support business needs and meetings at different time zones as and when needed The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in aerospace quality, engineering, or manufacturing, possessing a strong understanding of aerospace quality domains, design practices, regulatory standards, GD&T, drawings, and PEFMA, along with a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
