OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Cedar House facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Children’s home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care and support. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing the lives of children and young persons, particularly those with emotional behavioural disorders and ASD spectrum. To take full responsibility for the management of the Home in the absence of the Registered Manager and to provide the highest quality of care and support to Children and Young People in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body
STAFF
Support the Manager to effectively apply the probation process and contribute to decisions regarding ongoing employment of staff.
Assist in planning and updating of qualifications and contributes to personal development of self and others in line with personal and organisational objectives. Provide regular supervision and annual appraisals in accordance with company policies and standards set by the Regulatory Body.
Conduct Return to Work meetings for direct reports support with the management of sickness and absenteeism in accordance with Company policy.
