JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care within our bespoke residential facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This role involves supervising staff, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with care standards, particularly in areas such as medication administration, personal care, incidents/accidents, education, therapeutic support etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a residential home or supported living environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CQC care practices, including autism and learning disability, mental health etc.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and health regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on compassionate interaction with residents, staff and families.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Relevant qualifications in health or social care would be advantageous.
