THE ROLE:

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to support the overall leadership and daily operations of the nursery. You will play a key role in mentoring staff, ensuring high standards of care and education, and fostering strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
• Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care and education
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (EYFS, safeguarding, health & safety)
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning and assessments
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
• Step into the Manager’s role in their absence
