Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Nurse Manager (Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse) to join our well-established nursing home in Slough. This is a full-time, day-based role offering 40 hours per week, competitive pay, and paid breaks.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical care, lead and inspire the nursing team, and maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursing home
  • Lead and supervise nursing and care teams to deliver safe, person-centred care
  • Conduct clinical assessments and ensure effective care planning
  • Oversee medication management and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
  • Act as a role model and mentor for nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and development
  • Liaise with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
