ABOUT US:

Deputy Manager Wanted – Join the Creative Explorers Family
At Creative Explorers, we’re passionate about creating a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can thrive, and families feel supported. Located in the heart of Hornsey/Crouch End, our nursery is committed to building strong, meaningful relationships with parents and carers as we guide their children through their early years.
We already have a talented team of co-ordinators and managers, but due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking to grow our team to continue providing the highest level of support to families.
Are you a passionate and experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? Do you believe that building strong, respectful partnerships with families is at the heart of high-quality early education?
Creative Explorers Day Nursery and Preschool, based in North London, is seeking a warm, inspiring Deputy Manager to help lead our dedicated team and support the day-to-day running of our vibrant, nurturing settings.
About Us
At Creative Explorers, we believe childhood is a time to be brave, curious, confident and kind. Our approach is child-led, play-based and deeply rooted in creativity and connection. We pride ourselves not only on our commitment to the children in our care, but also to the families who trust us as an extension of their own support system.
About You
You’ll be an enthusiastic leader with a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years and substantial experience in a nursery or preschool leadership role. You’ll have:
A genuine passion for early years education
A nurturing, team-oriented approach
Strong organisational and communication skills
A deep understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
A proactive attitude to problem-solving and supporting staff development
But most importantly, you’ll value the vital role that parents and carers play in a child’s early development. We’re looking for someone who can build strong, meaningful relationships with families listening, collaborating and communicating with warmth, respect and professionalism.
What We Offer
✨ A supportive leadership team and a setting that truly values your voice
✨ Opportunities for professional growth and training
✨ A creative, joyful environment where no two days are the same
✨ The chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
If you’re ready to inspire, lead and be part of something truly special, we’d love to hear from you.
To apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter
Interviews will be held on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Early applications encouraged.
Let’s nurture the next generation of brave, curious, confident and kind explorers together.
