JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and positive thinking Deputy Nursery Manager to help lead our nursery team and ensure a safe, nurturing, home from home and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education. We have a strong ethos for the outdoors and outdoor play so a passion for exploring is a must. As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be working within a team for managing daily operations, overseeing staff, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families. We are a small friendly and caring team seeking someone lovely to join our management team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in a childcare setting, preferably within a nursery environment.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are desirable.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
