We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in Brighton and Hove and help us continue delivering outstanding childcare.
Position: Deputy Nursery Manager
Location: Seaford
Hours: Minimum 3.5 days per week (can be up to 5 days)
Salary: £33,000 FTE
Holidays: 32 days (including Bank Holidays)

• Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
• Support and inspire the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Be a hands-on leader, stepping in to guide and mentor staff and supporting in the rooms when needed.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Monitor and maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to staff development, recruitment, and performance management.
