The Deputy Operations Manager plays a key role within the South Region, managing core programmes in woodland creation and restocking. This role delivers projects for colleagues in Estates, Planning, Environment, Wildlife and Visitor Services. The post will lead and manage a dispersed delivery teamand contirbute to business planning and innovation.
The South Region are a fantastic team who have the very great privilege of managing almost 170,000ha of land with huge variety and potential, spread all the way from the Scottish Borders to the Isle of Arran.
To be successful in this role you will need knowledge of modern forestry and land management. You’ll also be qualified to HND or higher, in Forestry or a related Land Management subject.
