POSITION OVERVIEW:

Areeva Solutions is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support the Program/Project Manager in overseeing the execution of contract requirements and maintaining daily operational continuity. The DPM possesses the requisite knowledge and provides customized, business-focused objective advice, expertise, and specialist skills to enhance strategy, streamline internal processes, and improve overall program and project performance. The DPM also helps define problems, analyze complex systems, and support the development of strategic and operational recommendations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Acquisition, Grants Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in federal procurement, grants management, or program support.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting or managing federal programs with large, complex scopes.
  • Demonstrated ability to support program leadership, monitor performance metrics, and guide cross-functional teams in a high-demand environment.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing all phases of the program lifecycle, supporting acquisition, grants management, IT, content management, audit, and training services.
  • Support the PM in managing staff, evaluating performance, coordinating onboarding/offboarding activities, and tracking key deliverables.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in business process re-engineering, workflow automation, quality control, software lifecycle management, modeling, and simulation.
  • Develop and support the implementation of strategies to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with federal guidelines.
  • Represent the PM as needed in communications with the COR and stakeholders, including during meetings and reporting activities.
  • Help prepare and contribute to monthly performance reports, staffing projections, and analysis of financial and programmatic performance metrics.
  • Leverage experience and judgment to manage a range of complex assignments, ensuring successful task execution.
