Overview As the ​Deputy Program Manager​ working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will ​be the functional alternate to the Program Manager​ . You will be expected to ​assist leading the contract throughout all contractual matters and reporting to all internal and external stakeholders within the government​. This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer. Responsibilities ​​Assist in leading an integrated team to assist in management of the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Acquisition, GFE Budgeting and Execution and overall GFE Program Management to various U.S. Navy ships Review PARMs acquisition plans, taking into consideration factors including planned contract award dates and production lead-time, to determine the ability of the PARMs to meet the required GFE delivery dates specified in SPD Part IIIs and the Schedule as of applicable shipbuilding contracts Provide technical analysis in the development of SPD Part III based on changes to configuration baselines, shipbuilding profiles, shipbuilding contracts and ship production schedules Provide contract management expertise in the area of contract closeout efforts with the PARMs Prepare for and conduct weekly meetings in coordination with government and contractor personal Track and brief action items Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Science discipline 10 years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or 10 years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition DoD Secret level clearance 2 years of supervisory experience Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel Preferred: 14+ years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management​ ​
