QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: At least Baachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • EXPERIENCE:Proven experience delivering large-scale building projectsExperience in commercial, institutional, or high-tech (e.g. data centers, labs, cleanrooms) building projects is strongly preferred.
  • TECHNICAL & REGULATORY KNOWLEDGE:Solid understanding of local building regulations, authority submission processes, and code compliance (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA, URA).Strong grasp of contract administration and other relevant contract forms.Familiar with project procurement, budgeting, scheduling and project reporting tools.
  • CORE COMPETENCIES:Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of building and construction projects — from design development, procurement, and construction, through to testing, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Formulate and execute project management plans, including schedules, cost control strategies, risk assessments, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including consultants, main/subcontractors, vendors, and in-house project staff to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Serve as the key liaison with clients, consultants, authorities, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Oversee compliance with local statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements, especially related to workplace safety, health (WSH), quality standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost, buildability, and construction efficiency without compromising on quality or compliance.
  • Provide strong leadership in resolving site-level issues, technical challenges, and contractual matters.
  • Monitor progress against milestones, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and quality targets are met or exceeded.
