Description
SAIC is seeking a Deputy Project Lead/ Warfighter Integrator to join our Department of the Air Force Integrated Fires Command and Control Command and Control (DIFC2) Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) Team. The Deputy Project Lead will assist the Project Lead in managing the development, integration, testing, and delivery of advanced system of system capabilities for our government customer. This position will work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure program success while meeting technical, schedule, and cost objectives. This role encompasses managing relationships with stakeholders, execution oversight, and maintaining compliance with government and corporate requirements. This position will utilize their warfighting experience to translate the customer requirements into specific systems, applications and process designs. This position is ONSITE in Reston, VA. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Lead in all aspects of program execution. Oversee day-to-day operations, schedules, and deliverables for the program. Ensure execution stays within scope, budget, and schedule constraints. Provide guidance to engineering teams to align SoS development with mission objectives. Support the integration of complex, multi-faceted systems and subsystems. Identify and mitigate technical risks through proactive risk management practices. Act as a trusted point of contact for the customer, partners, and internal stakeholders. Facilitate clear and open communication with stakeholders across classified environments. Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and proposals to leadership and sponsors. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to drive a culture of excellence. Foster collaboration among on-site and remote teams while ensuring mission alignment. Actively support staffing efforts, including onboarding and maintaining a skilled workforce. Required Skills/Experience · Active TS/SCI or SCI eligible · U.S. Citizenship · Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of experience, Master’s Degree Preferred. · Experience as a senior leader in the Department of the Air Force. · Experience working JADC2 initiatives, or other System of Systems networked programs. · Experience working on defense rapid capability programs. · Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar workflow tools · Strong understanding of the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS).
