Organizational Context and Scope Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director (RD), with an operational reporting line to the Deputy Director General for Management and Reform and under the technical oversight of the relevant Departments and Divisions of the Management and Reform Pillar; and in close collaboration with other Departments and Divisions at Headquarters (HQ), as well as with the Country Offices (COs), the Deputy Regional Director (Management) performs deputizing and advisory functions for the Regional Director on management, financial, administrative and oversight- related matters. The Deputy Regional Director (Management) will provide strategic advice and substantive support to the Regional Director in the management of the Regional Office and exercise leadership and guidance to the RO and COs within the Region.  They will be responsible and accountable for managing and overseeing all budgetary, financial, human resources, supply chain management, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), internal controls, risk management, staff welfare, organizational compliance, and other administrative management functions.
Responsibilities
The Deputy Regional Director provides strategic advice and leadership to the Regional Director in managing the Regional Office and Country Offices. They are accountable for overseeing budgetary, financial, human resources, supply chain, ICT, and risk management functions.
