Introduction

For over 50 years, our international guests have been enjoying exotic drinks and Eurasian culinary delights at our world-renowned Polynesian specialty restaurant, Trader Vic's. To continue offering our guests the highest quality, we are looking for someone to join our kitchen team as soon as possible.

What you can expect from us:

• Active participation in planning, monitoring, and achieving the budget.
• Ensuring and monitoring the quantitative and qualitative staffing levels: Responsibility for the duty and vacation planning of all employees
• Motivating leadership of the entire service team, taking into account established leadership principles. Ensuring and increasing service quality through the implementation of training measures for employees.
• Actively fulfilling our role as hosts to our guests, as well as receiving and resolving complaints.
• Performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining and managing the guest database and making reservations.
• Planning, preparation and execution of standard daily business and ensuring smooth operational processes
• Ensuring correct accounting, maintaining the cash book and depositing cash
• Monitoring of inventory and compliance with legal hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Monitoring and ensuring quality standards throughout the entire restaurant area

What we would like:

• Successfully completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in upscale hotels or restaurants, as well as initial management experience.
• well-developed business acumen
• Safety in using common software programs such as MS Office
• Very good German and English skills; additional foreign language skills are an advantage.
