Our Rothaus Brewery Inn is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Baden State Brewery Rothaus AG, located in the Black Forest. As ambassadors of good taste and authentic Black Forest tradition, our approximately 80 employees in the accommodation, catering, event, and guest services departments are our greatest asset. Deputy Restaurant Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• They are hosts and simultaneously manage the restaurant from an economic and entrepreneurial perspective; they are forward-thinking, guest-oriented, sensitive, and possess clever ideas.
• Participation in the food concept/beverage offerings, menu design; influence on the beverage menu
• Experience with the Aleno and Hypersoft programs is an advantage.
• Leadership, motivation and instruction of employees
• Ensuring, compliance with, development, definition and verification of quality standards and operational processes using the SERQUA system
• Ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining and other external requirements as well as internal company guidelines (e.g. working time law, employee handbook)
• Training and onboarding of new team members
• Control of personnel deployment
• Conducting quarterly inventories
• Maintaining statistics and conducting regular quality controls

Your profile

• Successfully completed training as a restaurant specialist (m/f/d) or comparable qualifications
• Leadership experience
• Creative ideas and concept proposals are always welcome
• A structured work approach and attention to detail are just as important as cleanliness in the workplace.
• Professionally convincing demeanor and assertiveness
• good manners
