DEPUTY RESTAURANT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Deputy Restaurant Manager or similar role
  • Extensive food and wine knowledge
  • Computer literacy
  • Familiarity with reservation software
  • Experience in event planning

Deputy Restaurant Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation alongside fellow General Manager & Restaurant Manager
  • Deliver superior guest service, ensuring the highest guest satisfaction
  • Assist with developing guest loyalty programs
  • Assist with new and update existing menus
  • Assist with the overall restaurant marketing strategy
  • Respond efficiently to customer questions, reviews and complaints
  • Organise and supervise shifts
  • Manage and lead staff by example
  • Assist with training and staff performance
  • Manage restaurant supplies
  • Control costs and minimise waste
