Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Deputy Senior Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who would be based at our lovely Theale village setting where we care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
Proud to be rated ’Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
The nursery has good transport links by rail and bus services from Reading and Newbury.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will work in one of our nursery rooms, working as part of a small team, offering the best care and learning opportunities for our children. We use online learning journals to record children’s progress and development, and our team welcomes fresh ideas to support this.
Daily you will be interacting with the children through play, reading stories and helping them with their curious minds.
Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities encouraging the development of each child.
Develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships.

Work with colleagues to maintain a positive and happy environment.

As with all our staff team, the successful applicant will be required to have an enhanced DBS certificate, a subscription to the update service and two good references.
Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification required.
