Location: North Worle
Hours:24 hours per week over 3 days this including weekends and bank holidays
Salary:£24,395 per annum (£12.51 per hour)pro rata for part time.
Contract: Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Deputy Store Manager to assist in running our North Worle shop.
This store holds a variety of stock including, furniture, fashion, children’s, bric-a-brac and vintage and retro items. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has a passion for preloved items and would like to experience working in charity retail.
As deputy manager you will support the managers to:
* Maintain great standards to give our customers and donors an excellent shopping service
* Work with a team of paid staff and volunteers, including promoting volunteer recruitment opportunities
* Maintain good relations with the general public, the wider retail and logistics teams as well as colleagues across the whole Hospice
* Complete any required paperwork as needed
* Create strong merchandising displays within the stores
This a great opportunity for someone who enjoys retail and working in a lively, fast paced environment.
You will need to have enthusiasm, leadership and motivational skills, be customer orientated and target focussed, and enjoy working with a diverse range of products and people. You will be required to complete paperwork and therefore a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential. It would be desirable to have experience in the day to day working of a shop, including stock management, merchandising, health and safety and financial procedures.
