About the role Assist and supervise the project construction supervision of Nalua Baherchar Bridge (1.5 km Steel Arch Bridge) over the river Pandab-Paira at 27th km of Barishal (Dinerapool)-Laxmipasha-Dumki road Key Responsibilities: Key support to Team Leader (TL) with project QA management Liaison with client and counterpart organizations and key interface with local communities and their organizations Management of a large, interdisciplinary staff, particularly national staff Delegated responsibility for survey, studies, project construction milestones, reporting and presentations Undertake periodical inspection of construction activities ensuring that the works are being carried out in accordance with the plans and specifications and terms and conditions of the relevant contracts and standards Review of Contractor’s submittals, verification of progress and recommendation to PM for certification of bill of quantities against Contractor’s payment requests Maintain inspection and engineering reports and records, diaries and correspondences to adequately document Assist RHD in preparing a Project Completion Report (PCR) and Delegated responsibility for reporting and presentations About You: Minimum 20 years of professional experience in related field Minimum 15 years of experience in planning, preparation and design/construction supervision of bridge and or highway projects in ICB contract Minimum 5 years of experience as Deputy Team Leader in similar bridge projects in ICB contract We value equity, diversity and inclusion and are committed to creating a work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging and is empowered to do their best.
