Mandai Nature is a successful Singapore-based non-profit conservation organisation jointly set up by Temasek and Mandai Wildlife Group (which manages zoological parks including Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise). Mandai Nature is the conservation arm of Mandai Wildlife Group and was established with the aim of advancing efforts on biodiversity protection in Singapore and Asia. Through impactful programmes and innovative partnerships Mandai Nature strives to protect nature and inspire action.
The Deputy Vice President (DVP) of Fundraising and Communications will play a pivotal leadership role in driving sustainable revenue growth, enhancing our brand presence, and cultivating meaningful partnerships. This position requires an accomplished professional with a strong background in business development/fundraising, and communications, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the not-for-profit sector in Singapore.
The DVP will be responsible for growing and scaling the organization’s donor ecosystem, expanding strategic donor collaborations and driving communication — whilst aligning opportunities with the broader goals of Mandai to ensure synergy and maximize impact.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications/Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of professional experience in fundraising, business development, communications, or partnership management.
  • Proven track record of securing significant funding from multiple streams, including corporate sponsors, foundations and individual donors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in growing donor ecosystems and managing high-impact collaborations.
  • Familiarity with conservation and biodiversity issues in Southeast Asia is a strong advantage.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices for charities or Institutions of a Public Character in Singapore and the region.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to inspire diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in communication and business development tools, processes, and software.
  • Passionate about conservation and biodiversity, with a commitment to making a measurable impact Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term goals and immediate priorities.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
