Requirements Collect and accurately document patient intake, including medical history and current concerns Report patient findings and updates to the provider clearly and efficiently Prepare, set up, and assist with dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, skin surgeries, and cosmetic treatments Collect vital signs Clean, sterilize, and prepare medical instruments Administer local anesthetics (inject numbing medication) as directed by the provider Educate patients on treatment plans, medication use, and aftercare instructions Conduct follow up calls for patients after appointments or if any questions arise Ensure rooms are stocked daily Participate in daily huddles with providers and support staff Participate in additional projects as outlined by team leaders
Responsibilities
The LPN will collect and document patient intake, assist with dermatologic procedures, and educate patients on treatment plans. They will also participate in daily huddles and ensure rooms are stocked and ready for patient care.
