Our modern, high technology private dermatology practice has an opening for a full time (32- 40 hours/week) Medical Assistant to join our Team.

We are seeking a team player who is detail oriented and takes pride in performing at a high level.

A day in the life of a Medical Assistant is always varied and can include:

• managing patient flow by rooming patients, updating medical history and preparing patients for examination or procedures, scribing in EMR via iPad, and counseling patients with discharge instructions.
• setting up and assisting with biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, cryotherapy and cosmetic procedures
• administering lidocaine injections and topical anesthesia
• performing suture removal, phototherapy, patch testing & placement
• answering patient calls, medication refills, delivering biopsy results and scheduling
• counseling patients on cosmetic procedures and skin care products
• stocking exam rooms, cleaning and sterilizing equipment

Qualifications:
High school graduate
Strong interest in dermatology
Technology savvy
Medical assistant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
