Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate and motivated team player to join the team as Design and Estimator based in Acacia Ridge, QLD.
This role is responsible for creating detailed HVAC system designs and accurate cost estimates for residential projects. This role involves collaborating with sales team’s contractors, and customers to deliver efficient and cost-effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design & Drafting:

  • Develop HVAC system designs for domestic applications using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-specific software.
  • Create duct layouts, equipment schedules, and system schematics based on project requirements.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Work closely with contractors to refine designs and meet their needs

Project Coordination & Support:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and project managers to ensure accurate quoting and timely project execution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing for materials and equipment.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation and submittals for clients.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other HVAC design software.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and industry tools.
  • Previous experience in HVAC design and estimation is preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in estimating and cost analysis.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
