We are looking for engineers to specifically work on wire harnesses and transmission component design, development and validation for current production and next generation production. The engineer will work to develop and validate hardware in vehicle as part of product development and ongoing production. The engineer will also work closely with vehicles in the field, assembly plants, and suppliers to root cause analysis. In addition, the engineer will lead competitive benchmarking for wire harnesses and other electrical hardware. Our diverse transmission components team – situated in Livonia Michigan – is comprised of product strategists, researchers, hardware designers, test and calibration engineers, prototypes and project managers. Together our team works to understand our changing world, identify new opportunities, and take action to design and innovate for the future of mobility and sustainability.
Responsibilities
The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of wire harnesses and transmission components for current and next-generation production, working closely with vehicles in the field, assembly plants, and suppliers for root cause analysis. Additionally, the role involves leading competitive benchmarking efforts for wire harnesses and other electrical hardware.
