DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design and Technology Technician to join our dynamic secondary school in Haringey. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of outstanding Design and Technology education, working closely with teachers and students across a range of specialisms including Product Design, Textiles, Graphics, Food, and Engineering.

• Preparing, setting up, and maintaining equipment, tools, and materials for practical lessons.
• Supporting teaching staff during lessons to ensure safe and effective use of equipment.
• Maintaining workshop machinery and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assisting in the ordering, stock control, and organisation of materials and resources.
• Supporting students with practical work and developing their technical skills.
• Contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the Design and Technology department.
