DESIGN CONSULTANT / BUSINESS DEVELOPER

We are seeking a motivated Design Consultant / Business Developer to join our team at our flagship showroom in Soho, NY. This role is pivotal in expanding our trade network across America while ensuring exceptional client service and driving sales in our showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
     *      Work closely with clients—both retail and trade professionals—to create tailored design solutions, offering expertise on furniture, layout, and styling.
     *      Proactively build and expand relationships with designers, architects, and other trade professionals across the country. Identify and pursue new trade and partnership opportunities to increase brand visibility.
     *      Convert design consultations into sales at our flagship showroom by understanding client needs and guiding them through personalized selections of furniture and accessories.
     *      Develop strategies to grow our trade client base across the U.S. through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging your existing relationships.
Qualifications:
     *      Proven experience in interior design, furniture retail, and business development.
     *      Strong network within the design and architecture community is a plus.
     *      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to close sales and foster long-term client relationships.
     *      A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on new business opportunities.
     *      Passionate about design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
