Description The Cleary Company, an award-winning design-build remodeling firm in Columbus, is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Design Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding clients through material selections while ensuring every detail is organized, on budget, and ready for production. Key Responsibilities Client Selections Meet with clients to select: Plumbing fixtures Bath & kitchen accessories Electric fixtures Appliances Countertops and shower components Tile (flooring, showers, backsplashes, grout) Flooring Cabinet door styles & finishes Paint colors Assist Designers with additional selections as needed Create and maintain detailed Selection Sheets Budgeting & Procurement Price selections and manage allowances Obtain bids and perform material take-offs Production Coordination Collaborate with Project Managers and Production Team Attend key meetings (Design Presentations, Pre-Construction) Visit job sites to confirm proper installation and client satisfaction Showroom & Vendor Support Maintain samples and materials in showroom Build relationships with vendors and stay current on product trends Why The Cleary Company?
