Job Description

The Design Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the coordination and integration of multi disciplinary design inputs to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with client requirements, design standards, and program timelines.

  • Coordinate between different design disciplines (Civil, structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) to ensure integrated design delivery.
  • Support the Design Manager in managing the design process from concept to IFC stages.
  • Track design submissions and review processes to ensure compliance with design programs and deliverable requirements.
  • Assist in managing comments from clients, authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring they are logged, addressed, and closed in a timely manner.
  • Organize and document design coordination meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.
  • Assist in managing and issuing RFIs and design clarifications.
  • Collaborate with BIM teams to ensure coordination and clash resolution across disciplines.
  • Ensure design outputs meet regulatory requirements and align with project objectives.
  • Maintain the design documentation, including drawings, registers, and correspondence using information management platforms.
  • Good understanding of engineering disciplines involved in the civil infrastructure design.

Minimum Requirements:
5 Years experience in infrastructure design in Middle East
Familiar with authority requirements.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelors and/or Masters degree in engineering discipline.
