QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor qualification in Engineering (Civil), Building and Construction

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 + years’ experience in the field of project delivery
  • Multi-discipline project experience desirable in Building, Construction, Design
  • Awareness of people management processes
  • Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilities
  • Present work with high level of accuracy
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Design Manager to plan and control the delivery of project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and profit objectives
  • Coordinating the interaction of project members in the design delivery process, including design, construction, planning and environmental resources
  • Manage work and performance of subcontractors with design responsibility
  • Assisting in the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution
  • Proactively assisting Design Engineer/Design Manager to resolve technical issues
  • Daily coordination with consultant on technical matters
  • Supporting design and construction coordination meetings
  • Coordination of design management workflow (i.e. IDRs, cost planning tasks, compliance checks – PSDR, EPR, Sustainability, Services Brief, DE signoff and approval to release etc)
  • Processing Comment review sheets
  • Coordinating and closure of Design Non-Conformances
  • Supporting in gathering, reviewing and compiling information for presentations for DE/DM’s
  • Assist with client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team
