Role: Design Coordinator/ Design Manager
Client: Leading Residential Developer
Essentials: Degree or Higher Diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology, 3+ years’ experience in residential architecture, strong CAD skills, knowledge of Building Regulations, ability to manage technical aspects of pre-construction design.
Location: Cork
Salary: €55,000-€75,000 DOE

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate the design and technical details of their residential projects.
  • Assist the Technical Manager in coordinating pre-construction design for houses, duplexes, and apartments.
  • Brief and manage consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design standards and budgets.
  • Organise and chair design workshops, capturing approvals and actions.
  • Develop and maintain design guidance documents to support consistent delivery.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide buildability input.
  • Ensure designs meet building regulations, quality standards, and customer expectations.
