General Job Objective: Managing and developing the work of the Design Department and supervising all design activities, ensuring the execution of projects with high quality, in accordance with approved regulations and codes, and within the specified time and budget—while leading the team and achieving company goals and customer satisfaction. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Managing, planning, and organizing all design works for projects. Supervising work teams across all engineering disciplines, distributing tasks, and monitoring performance. Reviewing and approving drawings, designs, and documents before issuance. Ensuring compliance with approved codes, regulations, standards, and company policies. Coordinating with other departments and project managers to ensure workflow integration. Monitoring project timelines and ensuring adherence to delivery deadlines. Addressing technical challenges and problems and providing suitable solutions. Supervising employee performance evaluations and preparing periodic reports. Identifying training needs and developing the skills of department members. Contributing to the preparation of work plans and periodic reports for senior management. Job Authorities: • Approving design outputs and deliverables within the authorized limits. • Distributing tasks among department employees and evaluating their performance. • Proposing manpower and training needs for the department. • Representing the department in technical and coordination meetings. Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering. Work Experience: • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in the design field. • Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience. Required Skills and Competencies: • Strong leadership and management skills. • Proficiency in architectural design programs (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalents). • Comprehensive knowledge of codes and regulations. • Effective communication skills. • Ability to plan, organize, and make decisions. • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Work Relationships: • Internal relationships with other departments and divisions. • External relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers as required. Total Monthly Salary including housing and transportation: 15,000 – 20,000 SAR
