JOB SUMMARY:

As a Design Director, you’ll work with the Creative and Site Teams to create intuitive, resonant experiences for the people who shop our products and services. You will use crafted design language to help customers reach their goals on our site, and you will play an integral role in crystallizing digital vision and strategy. You will be designing, but you will also be expected to understand your audience and make decisions that reflect their best interests. You’re a designer-and digital experiences are your design language!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required: Bachelors preferred

Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience collaborating with design teams
  • Previous experience consuming or creating customer journeys and personas
  • Knowledge of CMS (Content Management Structures )Adobe Suites Expert, AEM Experience Preferred, UX/CX Experience

Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 8-10

Technical/Other Skills Required:

  • Experience in HTML, Understanding of Coding, Understanding of DAM Management
  • At least 8 years of experience working as a digital designer with strong insights of UX/CX knowledge
  • Passion for helping companies meet their goals and improve their focus on their target market
  • Passion for and knowledge of retail and fashion industries
  • Ability to craft compelling content to inspire and empower consumers
  • Ability to manage a multitude of projects at different facets in a fast-paced environment in a highly organized fashion
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine content audit to ensure the communication across our digital platforms is consistent and cohesive with the brand direction
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure content is delivered in the most impactful way to our consumers
  • Enable new means of interacting with our products within a brand right design language
  • Create compelling long-term strategies that allow content to scale, Use metrics and research to improve design communication and validate your work
  • Create brand guard rails for content across multiple marketing products while ensuring quality and consistency for the key target users
  • Produce customer journeys, persona’s and content style guides to aid in business alignment
  • Create intuitive, resonant digital design experiences across all channels
  • Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, publishers, product managers and other key stakeholders to bring your creations to life
