Position: Design Director – Slope Stabilization & Landslide Protection Department: Design & Engineering Reporting To: Project Director / Management Role Purpose: The Design Director shall lead the design unit and be responsible for planning, surveys, investigations, data collection, analysis, and preparation of preliminary and detailed designs related to slope stabilization, landslide mitigation, and hill slope protection projects. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the design team for slope stabilization and landslide mitigation projects. • Review survey data, geotechnical investigations, and site assessment reports. • Develop preliminary and detailed engineering designs for slope protection works. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and contractual requirements. • Coordinate with project managers, geotechnical experts, survey teams, and clients. • Provide technical guidance and design solutions for challenging hill slope conditions. • Review and approve design calculations, drawings, reports, and technical submissions. • Support tendering, project execution, and technical presentations. • Monitor design quality and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. • Liaise with authorities, consultants, and stakeholders on design-related matters. Requirements • Minimum 10 years of total professional experience. • Minimum 8 years of experience in slope stabilization, landslide mitigation, and hill slope protection design works. • Experience in handling geotechnical and structural aspects of slope protection projects. • Independently handled the design work of at least 5 slope protection or landslide treatment projects in hilly terrain. Desired Skills: • Strong knowledge of slope stabilization techniques and landslide mitigation measures. • Expertise in geotechnical and structural design principles. • Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills. • Proficiency in relevant engineering design software and analysis tools.

Responsibilities
