Job description
Precision Aluminum is a privately owned aluminum railing manufacturer located in the industrial park in Rocky View County AB and we are looking for a full-time draftsman/designer to join our team. We offer competitive wages and good benefits after probationary period.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience with 2D AutoCad and be a self motivated, detail-oriented draftsman accustomed to working in a fast paced, creative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the continuous flow of production drawings and assisting in the support of new products. Individuals will have the opportunity to receive hands on experience in designing components, as well as working with different manufacturing and business processes.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Extensive knowledge and application of 2D AutoCad and SolidWorks
• 2 years Experience in Metal /Manufacturing type of work
• 2 years Experience in Building & Design knowledge
• Development and upkeep of technical drawings and documents
• Project management skills with a deep sense of ownership
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Eager to learn; self sufficient.
• Strong attention to detail, follow up, and decision making skills.
• Knowledge of Civil Infrastructure, Mining/Forestry, and the oil and gas industries are an asset.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

• Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
• AutoCAD: 5 years (required)
• Drafting: 4 years (required)
• SolidWorks: 2 years (preferred)
• Bluebeam: 2 years (preferred)
