  At Regent Homes, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and design for our clients. We’re seeking a skilled Draftperson to produce accurate and high-quality drawings that support our construction teams, sales consultants, and clients throughout the build journey

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for preparing planning drawings, working drawings, and final construction sets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every stage. You’ll work closely with multiple departments, supervisors, and occasionally directly with clients, to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with Regent Homes’ high standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce accurate planning drawings, working drawings, and final construction sets.
• Review and approve timber framing layouts and structural steel documentation.
• Collaborate with estimation, selections, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement of design and construction methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with council requirements, industry standards, and governance bodies.
• Attend and contribute to client design meetings as required.
• Deliver drawings that balance creativity, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
