WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY

Aecon is seeking a Design Engineer to join Aecon Industrial to support our engineering team. We are proud to support projects that are committed to providing high quality Industrial Infrastructure. This starts with bringing aboard the best possible team!

• To provide leadership, support and co-ordination across all aspect of technical work streams, during each stage of design-build projects, from early design stages to commissioning. Technical work streams may include but are not limited to; All engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, engineering surveying, constructability and commissioning.
• Ensuring that the design developed meets the technical specifications of the project as well as the applicable law, codes, standards, etc.
• Ensure delivery of engineering in accordance with Aecon’s contractual requirements and construction needs.
• Ensure that quality is managed by our engineering providers.
• Assist Project Manager with the engineering budget and schedule.
• Help draft and maintain engineering project execution plan.
• Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
