Role Definition: Assists NSI Leads with the management of complex projects within the LPSD Engine Components and Thermal Systems involving multiple functions. Responsibilities: Create and maintain project plans through MS Project office. Understand and mentor teams in PM processes, templates and best practices Analyse plan data to identify potential roadblocks or risks Evaluate project risks and prepare the mitigation plan Communicate plan status to multiple levels of management Facilitate planning sessions required to compress data Be proficient in MS Office Suite of tools, including MS Project Good communication skills – spoken & written Degree Requirement: Degree or equivalent experience desired. Preferred to have a a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Tier 1 university/college. Level Working Knowledge: • Detects and summarizes patterns in data and findings by producing simple reports. • Assesses common problems and obstacles surrounding data-gathering. • Customizes data fields to meet clients' needs. • Interprets and explains results of a data-gathering initiative. • Participates in projects to gather data for needs analysis. Background/Experience: The position requires an engineering or manufacturing background plus well versed with the MS Project, good knowledge about engine components and systems is highly desirable. The position requires a bachelor’s degree – or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering. In addition, three to five years of job-related experience are required. Good human relation/communication skills to develop a cooperative working relationships with others inside of Caterpillar. Additional information: This job required 5 working days from office.
