Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer - Civil to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative civil engineering projects that meet our clients' needs and comply with local regulations. Develop detailed engineering designs for various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings Utilize CAD software to create accurate and comprehensive design drawings Perform complex calculations and structural analyses to ensure the safety and efficiency of designs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering designs with other project components Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Saudi Arabia Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for projects Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and monitor construction progress Implement sustainable design principles in project development Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in civil engineering Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D Experience with structural analysis software and project management tools Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia Understanding of sustainable design principles Experience with infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and buildings Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Willingness to conduct occasional site visits within the region Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
