DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Manufacturing Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience using Solidworks.
• Knowledge of bespoke manufacturing business systems such as MRP, ERP, or CNC.
• Experience in light and semi-heavy products fabrication, casting, or molding, along with post-process finishing.
• Knowledge of or experience in the marine industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Manufacturing Design Engineer, you will report directly to the owner, and be responsible for providing accurate and timely design drawings and technical specifications for every product manufactured.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Creating technical designs and drawings for the manufacturing team based on order requirements.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and contributing to the evolution of innovative designs.
• Foreseeing potential design challenges and alerting leadership in advance.
• Participating in daily team talks to review progress and prioritize work.
• Providing accurate daily reports on your progress and any potential challenges.
• Balancing task output volume with continuous improvement activities.
