Job Description Job Description: Position is to execute Product development work packages and Customer sub-projects for Diesel fuel injector ensure the work packages completed meeting Time and Quality targets. Competency requirements: Basic Knowledge in Product development process, Engineering Drawings, Design Standards and BES process Basic knowledge on standards/norms, Geometrical Dimension & Tolerating, Design, material, reliability Basic knowledge of IC engines and connected systems, Manufacturing, quality and procurement process of auto components Basic knowledge of measurement systems, testing and calibration equipment, and measurement procedure Functional skills: Competent in BES methodology and tools ViZ. FMEA, DRBFM, Focus analysis and 8D, Advanced skills with 3D CAD software, Application skills of mechanical engineering principles and Materials science Creation of 3D models in CREO and Preparation of part drawings, Offer Drawings, Product drawings. Preparation of Bill of Materials (Parts List) on SAP system & Test specification Basic skills in Measurement & Testing, Data analytics and technical reporting Basic problem-solving skills and ability to drive innovations to meet customer requirements Basics of Project management skills Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical related field) 2-4 years’ experience in Product Development, Design, Product Functional Analysis Additional Information Desirable: Basic knowledge of Diesel engines & applications Good understanding of Common Rail Diesel Fuel Injection system Basics & working knowledge of GD&T & tolerance calculations Basics of Quality Systems, hydraulics, Material science & Strength of materials Analytical reasoning ability & communication skills
