QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed degree (university of applied sciences/polytechnic/technical university) in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the area of design engineering or R&D
  • Good knowledge in 3D-CAD, preferably SolidEdge
  • Experience working with a PLM system, preferably Teamcenter
  • Knowledge in mechanical sealing technology (basic understanding of involved physics)
  • Production engineering expertise in the areas of machining
  • High motivation to learn and contribute
  • Teamplayer mentality
  • Communication/presentation skills in German (minimum level: B2) and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities
  • Development of products for mixing applications in coordination with product management and R&D
  • Design of GA and detail drawings for agitator seals
  • Independent checking of drawings and creation of bill of materials
  • Technical responsibility for a certain product range and support of Sales and Technical Sales departments
  • Cost and time efficient fulfillment of all given tasks
  • Technical calculations and independent interpretation and application of results
  • Support the manufacturing and testing department regarding a defined product range
  • Support the modularization of our product range
  • Training of design engineers within our global design network
