Description
The Switchgear Modernization division of EESS designs and manufactures custom solutions that allow for the modernization of both LV and MV equipment. Apply, Engineer & Install new Switchgear Modernization solutions. Understand and follow prescribed EESS safety policies, pertaining to shop and field environments Travel to customer sites to collect field measurements of customer's existing equipment Generate bills of materials submittal drawings, and assembly drawings Work with Electrical Engineer to solve customer control issues & requirements Receive, inspect, assemble, and produce final solution Occasionally travel to job site to supervise installation of final solution Assist in application of solution and generation of quotes Attend product training to maintain a high level of product knowledge Participate and contribute to process improvements Must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology) from an accredited institution by December 2025. Must have training and/or experience working with AutoDesk Inventor, Pro-E, or Solidworks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success. Only candidates located within 60 miles of Houston, TX will be considered. No relocation being offered.
