Description

Job Purpose Design 66 kV Substation under the supervision of senior and team leader engineers. This should be based on the general guide line given by the section head and department manager Key Accountabilities • Reading the contract. • Preparing of preliminarily base design drawings as Main SLD, R&M SLD, Interlock Principal, DC System, AC System, etc. • Preparing base design calculations as DC package calculations, AC package, CT verification, VT verification, etc. • Preparing Detailed design drawings for control and protection panels. • Preparing the bill of material for control and protection panels. • Attending FATs. • Making LV Control Cables BOQ. • Contacting and following up suppliers. • Attending meetings with other departments and suppliers. • Coding. Qualification & Education: Education: B.Sc. of Electrical Power and Machine department Years of Experience: 2-5 years of experience in control & Protection secondary design of HV substations. Language: English & Arabic Computer skills: MS office, Autocad (Preferred), Panel Engineering software (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Design 66 kV substations by preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings, including SLDs and control panels. Responsibilities also include performing design calculations, managing bills of materials, and coordinating with suppliers and other departments.
