Description

Buoyant Works have 2-3 vacancies for design engineers to join its expanding team based between Saltash and Liskeard. This is very much a dynamic role with the opportunity to express your talents in a young but highly creative business. Buoyant Works designs and manufactures impact protection and fendering products for the marine, offshore wind and oil & gas industries. We also manufacture ROV buoyancy solutions as well as produce custom mouldings for a variety of industries.
We are looking for qualified engineers with a background in marine, mechanical or civil engineering. We will consider both experienced engineers or graduates looking for their first full time role. Having an interest in the marine or renewables industries can be helpful but not essential. The desire to learn, be able to communicate effectively and an interest in introducing fresh, new and innovative ideas to our business is important. Job functions include supporting sales, production and R&D requirements.
Being proficient with 3D Modelling software and in particular having experience using SolidWorks will be beneficial.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits which are dependent on experience and skill set.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,500.00-£45,000.00 per year
