We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our team in our Vancouver office. The Design Engineer is responsible for creating structural schemes for typical construction types, with understanding of design, construction, and cost factors. This role will coordinate and resolve issues with architects, other consultants and contractors. An ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of relevant structural engineering experience, including a minimum of one year of construction-stage experience. • Contributes to creating and comparing structural schemes.
• Contributes to basis of design and design strategy documents.
• Carries out design tasks across wide range of common design elements.
• Carries out construction reviews across wide range of construction elements.
• Delegates and leads others in carrying out design tasks and construction reviews.
