ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
- Design and Model: Create and model subsea steel and GRP structures and piping layouts using 3D Autodesk Inventor and 2D Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical for various project phases. Contribute to Design Reviews.
- Prepare Drawings: Convert 3D models into detail drawings and perform necessary interface checks.
- Develop Schematics: Create schematics and P&IDs for structures.
- Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Apply Standards: Follow design codes such as NORSOK, DNV, Eurocode, ISO, and ASME.
- Analyse Requirements: Interpret design and functional requirements from contractual documents.
- Support Fabrication: Assist fabrication engineers in defining scopes of work. Contribute to FAT/SIT activities.
- Experience with analysis and calculations is an advantage but not a must.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (relevant experience may substitute for education).
- Technical knowledge in the design of subsea structures.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in software like Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with design standards such as NORSOK, DNV, Eurocode, and ISO. ASME is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
