We are seeking a talented and innovative Design Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. They are in the Aerospace and defense sector! The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions across various projects. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, as well as proficiency in design software and project management. The Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet specifications and are delivered on time.

• Develop detailed designs and specifications for mechanical systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers to create and maintain project schedules.
• Perform system design and analysis, ensuring compliance with GD&T standards.
• Engage in data collection and analysis to inform design decisions.
• Work on projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and systems engineering principles.
• Conduct research to support new product development and improve existing designs.
• Create schematics and documentation for manufacturing processes.
• Utilize 3D scanning technology for accurate measurements and design validation.
• Participate in laboratory testing to validate designs against performance criteria.
