Job Summary If you are a Design Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Design Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to generate Customer Drawings. You will also be responsible for Creating Quote Drawings. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Create 3D CAD Models, Assemblies & Drawings in SolidWorks. Create Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 drawings using SolidWorks. Revise Level Drawings per customer requirement. Create hook-up blocks for Actuators & Instruments. Prepare Bill of Materials for Level Drawings. Create missing hookups and store in database for future use. Support Outline drawing using ADCI (In House tool) Maintain documents in SolidWorks PDM. Who You Are: You quickly and decisively take action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations. You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; is exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You model collaboration across the organization. You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 2 years' experience in CAD modelling. Basic knowledge in SolidWorks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering. Basic understanding of Engineering Standards Experience in SolidWorks Macros is added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.
